- Aortic Rupture/Dissection
- Acute pulmonary embolism WITH saddle embolism or signs of right heart strain
- Acute cord compression with cord edema
- Acute intracranial hemorrhage/herniation (new/unexpected)
- Moderate/large pneumothorax or complication (new/unexpected)
- Ruptured ectopic pregnancy
- Pneumopericardium (new/unexpected)
- Free air in the abdomen/pneumoperitoneum (new/unexpected)
- Ovarian/testicular torsion
- Imaging evidence of necrotizing fasciitis
- Strangulated hernia
- Thrombus in an artery
- Acute large territory stroke
- IVC or iliac DVT (not peripheral DVT)
Call Provider Directly:
- Acute pulmonary embolism (new/unexpected) - only larger acute PE with saddle embolus or signs of right heart strain called to TMC
- Small pneumothorax (new/unexpected) - only moderate to large PTX or complication from PTX called to TMC
- Ectopic pregnancy
- Shortened cervix - call OB/GYN provider
- Acute/unexpected peripheral DVT - only IVC or iliac DVT called to TMC
- Acute small stroke - only large territory stroke called to TMC
